Doing all these side projects, there is nothing but throwbacks to put up. But hey spring is upon us, the sap is rising…

It’s been a while since my last post here. Time to move out some of the backlog. Starting with the most resent. A few pics from my solo exhibition i Switzerland at Stadtgallerie Chur. The exhibition was curated by Andreas Hoffmann and I owe him and not least Flavia Devon’s Hoffmann a great thanks for their support and a super nice and well organised event. And though the images were sketched out in advance, all the plates were painted in the gallery. Wall paint by sponge on MDF. A truly nice and sensual experience, throwing a great deal of energy into the paintings.
Rivjern / grater
Rivjern (grater) is a visually appealing object. In Norwegian it is also jargon for bossy women. And it’s the title for my new solo exhibition coming up at Gategalleriet March 23.

Back on an old wall – between the buffed and the salvaged. The flowers to the right are leftovers from 2011. If you look closely you’ll see that when the wall was painted they deliberately painted around the flowers. A nice gesture. Most often the outcome is like the blot on the left….
Ferrywoman
New piece in Reykjavik. Love the colour on the building! A very windy day made the painting a real challenge.
Soft spoken
I applied a range of colours that would not stand out too much – trying to match the energy of the subject. I think the image got an air of a semi washed away piece, merging into the wall. Maybe it’s due to the rough texture of the wall. For reference the image is life-size +.
Gemini reflections
New piece in Bergen – after a very wet and street art unfriendly summer. Continue reading “Gemini reflections”
